STOP the Violence with FCCLA!

On Wednesday February 15^th students from the Commerce Middle School Chapter of FCCLA participated in a STOP the Violence presentation.  FCCLA members presented a skit to all grade levels from 5^th to 8^th on how you can recognize, reduce, and report youth violence in schools.

The presentation was created by 6^th grade students Hannah Oglesby and Madison Smith.  On Thursday February 16^th CMS students signed a pledge in the cafeteria where they promised to be a friend to those around them, using the skit slogan: “Bullies tear down, but friends build up!  Being mean stinks!”
